About NavigatorBBS

NavigatorBBS is on a mission to explore how data science work can feel more focused, more capable, and more human when the lab and the assistant are designed together.

That starts with building a strong working environment for notebooks, analysis, and experimentation, then pairing it with an AI partner that can help guide the work inside that environment. That is the direction behind MaxLab and Sysop.

Instead of chasing generic tooling or product sprawl, NavigatorBBS is shaping a small, opinionated software stack around clarity, reproducibility, and practical analytical workflows.

Projects

NavigatorBBS is currently centered on two connected projects: MaxLab, the workspace, and Sysop, the AI coach and lab assistant.

Project 01

MaxLab

MaxLab is the JupyterLab-based data science workspace at the center of the NavigatorBBS vision. It is the lab environment where notebooks, tools, and reproducible workflows come together in one place.

Sysop is the AI data science coach and lab assistant for the NavigatorBBS ecosystem. Built for Jupyter workflows, it brings GitHub Copilot powered guidance directly into the notebook experience.
